One - The Working Social
New media practitioners Fowler+Sumner are hosting a one-day event for emerging and established new media artists to come together and enjoy a day of creative exchange, with a rare opportunity to create new work, experiment with ideas, and share inspiration with a group of peers. Artists will respond to a a set of instructions, or obstructions, given out at the beginning of the day. Each artist will produce their own work and at the end of the day there will be a screening or showcase of the produced work. The Working Social is a new media production event, but does not exclude artists who usually work in other media, as long as they are technically self-sufficient. Bring your own cameras and laptops. For more details e:mail contact@fowlersumner.net
Fowler+Sumner are new media artists based in Shrewsbury. They are exploring ideas of fractured and layered narratives, and how creative technology can be used and subverted into recording, generating, telling, retelling and distorting narrative.

Max 10 places. Tutors: Arron Fowler and Martin Sumner Cost £5.
